Essential legal contracts for tech startups
Through this course you will gain an understanding of the principles of contracting, the nature and structure of a contract and the essential contracts, all framed for the needs of a tech-based startup.
This course consists of lectures, reading material and slides. Upon completion of the course, you will have a grounded understanding of the principles of contracting and how they apply to your business.
This course will be offered twice in 2021.

Please note that we reserve the right to reschedule contact sessions as remote teaching via Zoom in the event that circumstances prevent us from holding face-to-face sessions.

This course is for entrepreneurs, founders, innovation officers and legal personnel of tech based startups.
This course is presented in conjunction with Endcode. EndCode is a tech law advisory that specialises in assisting startups in navigating the legal frameworks that impact their businesses. We are proud legal mentors for tech startups at the Innovation Hub in Pretoria and the pan-African Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST).
A certificate of attendance from UCT will be awarded to students who attend the full course.
